Overall, the experience was amazing. The entrance is at the corner of the street and there is a beautiful walkway up to the restaurant. The decor is refined and really does a great job fusing the Korean and Modern-American styles. The hostess was very bubbly and welcoming. The tasting menu was nothing less than amazing. Each dish was refined and held so many different flavors. It felt like there were 10 different flavors and none of them clashed. The precision of the dishes tells you how much effort and trial went into these plates. All of the dishes are light and show off a new piece of culinary expertise. Every single staff member was friendly and knowledgeable of the dishes. They were all able to answer any and all questions on the plates. We did not do the wine pairing, but the drinks we had were very good. I do not think you can go wrong with their list. Altogether, it was an experience I wish I could do again. I will definitely make plans to come back once the menu changes!

I loved the inside of the restaurant, it was very enticing and beautiful. Service was on point. They were very perceptive on each table’s needs. As for the tasting, I liked the Korean influence since there aren’t many tasting menus in the city with the same ingredients and flavor. I gave 4/5 because I left still hungry so maybe some of the portion sizes need to be a smidge bigger.

The scallops and wagyu beef dishes are standout options that demonstrate the kitchen's prowess and attention to detail. The perfect wine pairing complements each course, enhancing the flavors and aromas of each dish. Save room for the delightful HI Chew dessert that caps off the meal sweetly and satisfyingly. After returning from our recent sojourn in Paris and Italy, we yearned for something uncharted, a culinary adventure away from the familiar West Loop and Gold Coast. Enter Jeong, a decision made after meticulous research and perusal of mixed reviews, which proved to be an audacious gamble that paid off in spades. Our evening at Jeong unfolded as an impeccable culinary symphony. Each dish presented before us was a masterpiece, an exquisite fusion of flavors and textures that elicited sheer awe. The wine pairings, a testament to expert curation, wove seamlessly with each course, elevating the meal to celestial heights. The service, nothing short of extraordinary, maintained a thoughtful pace, allowing us to relish every morsel and savor the grandeur of the dishes. Among the highlights were: Mussels, bathed in a luscious beef broth, with a refreshing interplay of cucumber and a hint of Yuzu Kosho. Seared Scallop, adorned with a velvety Beurre Blanc, nestled atop a bed of tender spinach, crowned with delicate Trout Roe, and garnished with chives. Australian Wagyu, transcendent in its succulence, draped in a Jorim Glaze, and accompanied by earthy notes of carrot and cabbage. For dessert, an enchanting crescendo: Kkaetnip infused with Korean Yogurt and a subtle hint of Buckwheat. Jeong not only met but surpassed our loftiest expectations. It delivered an exquisite dining experience, a testament to culinary artistry.

Absolutely fabulous. I particularly loved the Australian Wagyu, even though the red meat course of a tasting is usually my least favorite, and the hi-chew and the scallop. But everything was so delightful from start to finish.

This is the best restaurant I have ever been to in America. Each course will forever change your perception of food. The textures and flavors are such an incredible dinner experience. It is the best restaurant in Chicago and you wont regret any money spent. Each course is perfectly spaced out with new silverware each time, the champagne is incredible and totally worth it. The atmosphere is romantic, beautiful, and so intimate. The staff are so personable and just delightful. Even the bathrooms were beyond my expectations! We will be back in a few months!!!! If you’re thinking about eating here let this be your sign and dont forget to book ASAP!! Not to mention this place is family & locally owned.
